An Indianapolis Wedding Venue

Have you heard about one of the newest wedding venues in the Indianapolis area, the Lizton Lodge? I had the opportunity to preview this fantastic wedding venue this past week, and I was seriously impressed!

It’s just a short drive west on I-74 from Indianapolis nestled among the Hendricks County fields in Lizton, Indiana.

As you drive through the iron gate and enter into the property, you wind down a beautiful, tree lined drive that leads you through the woods to the large, secluded, well kept estate. Everything about the Lizton Lodge has been well thought out and planned with weddings in mind.

They are offering so many options! The Lizton Lodge has something for everyone! Whether you would like an indoor wedding ceremony or an outdoor wedding ceremony, there are options to suit nearly every wedding vision.

I loved how expansive and well appointed the bride and groom’s getting ready areas are! Guys, you aren’t an after thought here! There is even a theater room for you! The bridal room also well equipped with everything you’ll need along with high class finishes and beautiful light!

For the wedding ceremony, there are options! If you would like an outdoor ceremony, there are several beautiful locations including “sunset hill,” near the pond, or under the lights and arch way of the courtyard.

Their clean, white banquet room is in the process of being renovated to be the perfect backdrop for your wedding vision. It can be used for your ceremony as well as seat up to 200 guests at tables for your reception. Picture it with gorgeous chairs, florals, and your wedding colors!

They also allow outside caterers, which is rare for a high class venue! They have a beautiful kitchen that will be equipped with professional quality equipment for your caterers to keep your food warm and ready to serve your guests! Trust me, they will be thrilled!

With so many options and beautiful locations for both a wedding ceremony and a reception, combined with the capacity to accommodate a large number of guests, I can see this easily becoming one of my favorite wedding venues in the Indianapolis area.
