Associate Photographer?

Austin and I have worked HARD to build Erika Brown Photography into the successful business it is today. We take pride in serving our clients excellently, providing a luxury wedding photography experience, and producing images that our clients are proud commemorate their wedding day.

However, as our business has grown, we began to turn more and more couples away every year due to unavailability.
We refuse to compromise service and quality. So, while we agreed, years ago, that adding an Associate Photographer seemed like the best solution,
we also wanted to be patient until the absolute right person came along. After nearly 3 years of patiently waiting, we had nearly given up.

Then, we met Jillian.

Not only is Jillian the perfect fit for our business, we hope we are the perfect fit for Jillian as well. After running her own wedding photography business, she decided to take a step back and out of photographing her own weddings. While she loves photographing a wedding day, all of the business that goes with booking clients, creating timelines, editing, album designing, etc, just wasn't where her heart was. So, becoming an Associate Photographer for us allows her to do what she loves while allowing us to serve more couples! Win-win!

We are so excited to have Jillian exclusively photographing for Erika Brown Photography as a way to serve the clients that Austin and I are not able to serve, whether it is due to availability or budget constraints. With our Associate Collection, you can expect to receive the same luxury wedding photography experience that all Erika Brown Photography couples receive from booking to image delivery.

I recently moved back to Indianapolis after living in Phoenix for around 11 years! I moved there for college, but ended up meeting my husband and starting a family there. I loved the sunny, warm weather in Arizona, but it's priceless to me to be able to do things in Indianapolis like go to my childhood home for family dinner every week.

I love shooting so much that if I had a day to pick anything that I would want to do, I'd probably be shooting! It's my creative outlet, and I'm truely in the moment when I'm behind the camera. Of course, if I had a day to do whatever I wanted, I'd probably also add in a bit of pampering, like getting my hair and nails done, a massage, and finish it off with staying in some kind of quirky hotel (a personal fave of mind is The Shady Dell in Bisbee, Arizona with my husband and kiddos!

I love wedding days and everything they represent! If I had to pick one part of the day that I love the most, it might be the bridal party portraits. I love having fun with all the bridesmaids and groomsmen while capturing memories with the couple and their special friends. I really do love each part of a wedding day for different reasons. Weddings are amazing because I get to experience so much variety in one day! I love that no wedding is exactly the same!

I'm so excited to be serving Erika Brown Photography's couples as an associate photographer because I really admire Erika's dedication and her ability to provide top notch service. Her photography is timeless and stunning. I'm excited to be a part of a team that truly cares about their clients, providing quality customer service, and delivering an amazing product!
