A CLASSIC INDIANA WEDDING

Dan and Kate waited a very LONG time for their wedding day. You might remember them from their engagement session on Indiana University’s campus last fall.

Finally, on their third wedding date, after over 900 days of engagement, they were married surrounded by family and friends, who were so eager to celebrate their marriage. Because Dan and Kate met at Indiana University, they wanted to incorporate classic Indiana University elements into their wedding day. I also loved their getting ready location, the Graduate Hotel in Bloomington. Their incorporation of Indiana University tradition, including basketball heritage, and their nod to the infamous Bobby Knight chair throwing incident were on point.

Of course, the perfect spot for the bride and groom’s first look on Indiana University’s campus is at the Sample Gates.

After wedding portraits on IU’s campus, we traveled to the nearby The Wilds Wedding and Event Venue. So Gorgeous! What a beautiful property and wedding venue!

I loved the farmhouse tables and all of the wedding details!

Kate surprised Dan with an epic Indiana Basketball groom’s cake!

Finally, after so many months of waiting, Dan and Kate celebrated their marriage with a beautifully choreographed first dance.
